What is FSJ? The Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) is a government-supported program in Germany that allows young people to volunteer in hospitals, elderly homes, or social institutions for 6 to 12 months. For many, it serves as a gateway to vocational training (Ausbildung) or a full-fledged nursing career in Germany.

Eligibility Criteria
Age: 18–26 years
Minimum A2/B1 German language proficiency
Completed school education (10th or 12th standard)
Passion for healthcare, caregiving, and social service
Medical fitness and willingness to relocate
What You Receive
